Tomatoes, Tomatoes, Tomatoes!

We grew about 400 extra cherry tomato plants for this clinic tomorrow. I guess we will be planting A LOT!  We also have the Geronimo tomatoes in the hoop house almost ready to ripen. A few have started to blush. Imagine that. Ripe tomatoes in May.

Come see us at the market tomorrow at the Washington County Courthouse in Potosi, MO. It's at the intersection of N Missouri Street and High Street (Hwy 8). We'll be under the canopy in the shade.

What a busy Spring! Plants Everywhere!

Our first spring on the farm has been a challenge, but a rewarding one.  We got the hoop house built to start plants, and when the weather warmed up we planted geronimo tomatoes in it.

We've been selling at the Washington County Farmers Market for several weeks. This week we will start to have a little produce to go along with our vegetable plants and flower baskets.

We will be there Saturday from 8am to 1pm if the weather hold. Stop by and see us. The market is in the courthouse parking lot in Potosi, MO at the intersection of Missouri Street and High Street(Hwy 8).

Our new farm

Late last fall David and I bought this farm along the Fourche a Renault Creek. We've been wildly busy every since, getting ready for the 2012 growing season. Here are some market pictures from last season.
